Job Title: Senior Training Executive

Salary: £34,500-£44,850 per annum

Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2+ days in the office per week)

Contract: Full time, permanent

Join us as a Senior Training Executive and play a key role in supporting our global Academic Sales Team. You'll design and deliver impactful training that helps colleagues and customers confidently engage with our systems, products, and publishing processes- driving adoption, improving efficiency, and strengthening relationships

This is a strategic, people focused role ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and making a measurable difference.

About The Role

  • Lead the design and delivery of training programmes that enhance internal capability and customer understanding of our publishing systems and products.
  • Develop and implement global induction and development plans for Academic Sales, ensuring consistency and alignment across regions.
  • Create and maintain high-quality training content, keeping it accurate, accessible, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to identify training needs and align with business priorities.
  • Deliver customer-facing training and product demos to support adoption and engagement, especially for digital platforms.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion innovation in training, introducing new tools and approaches to boost engagement and retention.
  • Mentor colleagues and support a learning culture across the organisation.

About You

As the Sales Training Executive, you will be a confident and collaborative training professional with:

  • Experiencing designing and delivering engaging training, ideally in a digital or academic environments
  • Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset
  • Familiarity with business systems like Salesforce and SAP
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to translate complex systems into accessible learning
  • A passion for empowering others and supporting global teams
