Senior Underwriter - Financial Insitutions

Eames are currently recruiting for a leading global insurer who are looking to hire a Financial Institutions Underwriter to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing and growing book of large, complex FI business, supported by a well-established portfolio. You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, working across a geographically diverse portfolio with a strong mix of primary and excess-layered business.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is confident trading at the top end of the FI market and comfortable leading conversations with global banks and financial institutions. While the platform has a strong foundation, there’s still a real appetite for profitable growth, so commerciality and market presence are key.

We’re keen to speak with individuals who have strong FI underwriting experience, ideally with exposure to large or multinational accounts, and are confident handling lead placements and broker negotiations.
