Prior + Partners is expanding our London studio and seeking experienced Masterplanners and Urban Designers to join our growing team.

Founded in 2018, our practice integrates masterplanning, planning and economics to unlock the potential of places and communities around the world. Our studio of over 100 practitioners consists of urban designers, architects, masterplanners, town planners, landscape architects, economists and digital specialists. About the Role

Key responsibilities will include the application of professional knowledge and expertise across the following areas :

• Contributing to designs, development and options for masterplans (pre-concept, concept & detailed)
• Place visions and strategic growth frameworks
• Site analysis and assessment
• Report writing and production
• Illustrations and visualisations across different formats (reports, presentations, sketch)
• Contributing to the development and co-ordination of development schedules
• Co-ordination with sub-consultants and design partners
• Contributing to the development of design briefs
• Contributing to presentations and design reviews in meetings
• Site allocation and capacity studies
• Social Value application
• Contribution to client team workshops and meetings
• Internal team meetings and co-ordination

About You

• Architecture/ landscape/urban design or related degree
• 4+ years experience working in urban design/masterplanning/architecture delivering complex, large-scale projects
• Collaborative, curious, ambitious
• Strategic thinker + hands-on designer
• Strong visual and graphic skills
• Happy working in a team
• Confident guiding and mentoring junior colleagues
• Fluent in English – spoken and written proficiency
• Self-motivated with good time management and ability to work to deadlines
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Adobe CC Suite
• Working knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) is advantageous
• Experience in Rhino and Grasshopper/parametric design tools is advantageous
• Good understanding of UK planning applications (Outline/Detailed) is advantageous
