Senior UX Designer – Front Office Trading

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with strong experience in front office trading environments to join our dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trading workflows and financial instruments—preferably in the Credit asset class, though Rates and FX experience is also relevant. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead the end-to-end design of trading tools and platforms used by traders, sales, and other front-office stakeholders.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 months Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX design for high-performance trading applications across Credit, Rates, or FX desks.
• Work closely with traders, sales, quants, and technologists to understand workflows and pain points.
• Translate complex trading workflows into intuitive and performant user experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Drive user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback loops.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of UX design experience with at least 4+ years focused on front office trading platforms.
• Strong domain knowledge in Credit trading; familiarity with Rates and FX also acceptable.
• Proven track record of designing user experiences for complex, real-time trading systems.
• Expert proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and component management.
• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive interfaces.
