Senior VAT Accountant

JSS Search are hiring a Senior VAT Accountant for a blue-chip company based in Central Milton Keynes - This is one of the choice employers in the local area.

This is a permanent full-time role paying circa £55k-£60k plus 10% bonus and with a fantastic benefits package.

Working closely with the Head of Tax and the wider tax team, the Senior VAT Accountant will take on a varied indirect tax role - But also will get involved in some corporate tax as well, plus some ad-hoc employment tax work.

There is a great mix of advisory, compliance, business partnering and project work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working in a VAT/indirect tax position in a large accounting firm who is looking for their first in-house role. But it would equally suit someone with prior industry experience looking for a broader role or somewhere with clear opportunities to progress.
