Job Description
- MW / DB estate is patched timely and kept current always.
- DBs - SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Oracle Load balancer Citrix Net scaler Secure file transfer capability, Global scape.
- Plans to remediate EOL timely.
- Vulnerability remediation - Critical/ Zero day included.
- Ensure MW and DB platforms are built as per client standards.
- Projects related to the platforms are delivered on time and within budget.
- Hold managed service provider accountable for their deliveries and ensure that the deliveries are as per the SLAs.
- Maintains the security, confidentiality, and integrity of platforms through compliance and within the security framework designed with in client's org.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team.
- Manage a performance-based culture and work collaboratively with the managed service partner whilst ensuring that the service provide is held accountable for their deliveries.
- Coach and mentor the team where required.
- Provide technical guidance to the team on the platforms as required.
- Find opportunities to improve even if the activity is small.
- Look at opportunities to automate the processes.
- Has Service focus and problem-solving capability.
- Strong verbal and written communication capability.
- Develop and maintain relationship with various other client teams such as security, Application teams, architecture team, technical assurance team etc.
