Service Delivery Manager
- Rate: £500 Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months (likely extension)
- Location: 1 day per week in London.
Your Role:
An experienced Service Delivery Manager joining an extremely fast paced insurance firm, with global presence and private equity backing. Your role is critical to stabilising IT Operations and will be responsible for customer facing communications.
You will use your senior stakeholder management and gravitas to present data, and report findings. Your ITSM expertise will be utilised in terms of route cause analysis, you'll need to be well equip to deal with Major Incidents. Financial services experience is key.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT service delivery across global business units, ensuring consistent communication with internal customers and senior stakeholders.
- Lead the response and coordination of Major Incidents, ensuring timely resolution and transparent updates throughout.
- Own service performance reporting, presenting findings and trends to executive-level stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Drive root cause analysis for recurring issues, ensuring permanent resolutions are identified and implemented.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Application teams to stabilise IT operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain alignment with ITIL/ITSM best practices, leveraging frameworks to improve process maturity and operational effectiveness.
- Work in partnership with change and release management teams to mitigate service disruption and maintain service continuity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across service delivery and operations.
