We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic team in Manchester UK. This role is crucial to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by providing first-line support to our users. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for internal customers seeking assistance with technical queries and issues.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical problems, resolving user requests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring all service requests are processed timely and efficiently. You will work closely with other IT teams to escalate complex issues as necessary.

Requirements


  • Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience as a Service Desk Analyst or similar role in a technical support environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles is an advantage
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications like Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
