About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Desk Engineer to provide technical support and incident resolution for end users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining service levels, and ensuring a high-quality support experience.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical support skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced service desk environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues
Support Windows desktops/laptops and common business applications
Manage user accounts, access rights, and password resets
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Log, track, and resolve incidents in line with SLAs
Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support teams
Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base articles
Deliver professional and customer-focused IT support

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, or IT Support Engineer role
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and end-user applications
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Experience using ITSM or ticketing tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience with Active Directory and user access management
Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
Exposure to endpoint management or security tools
IT certifications (ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or equivalent)
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
