United Response are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee three services across Newcastle, providing strategic leadership and support to well-established teams during a period of change.
The first service provides support to three women with learning disabilities; the second supports three men with learning disabilities, including one individual with complex health needs. The third service supports a young man with learning disabilities and Prader-Willi syndrome.
Key Purpose of the role as Service Manager
Ensure people we support are supported in accordance with person centred approaches and manage the resources of the service effectively.

As a Service Manager, you will lead and develop your team, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and equipped to deliver outstanding care. Your role will involve overseeing recruitment, supervision, and performance management while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Additionally, you will take responsibility for financial management, ensuring budgets are carefully managed and financial processes are followed.
You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards, are kept to the highest standards of quality and safety. Building strong relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and the wider community will also be key to enhancing the support provided.
