London Heathrow (LHR) is the main international airport serving London. It is the largest of the six international airports in the London airport system. The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings and in 2021, it was the seventh-busiest airport in the world by international passenger traffic and eighth busiest in Europe by total passenger traffic.
Costain have partnered with Heathrow Airport to deliver its new investment programme, which will provide a step-change in the customer experience and transform the airport on its journey to become a net-zero aviation hub. As a delivery partner, we will work with Heathrow throughout the project lifecycle to shape, create and deliver asset renewal and construction projects procured through the Terminal Asset Renewal Partner and Major Project Partner lots of the H7 framework.
To support the Contract SHE functions, provide, and support SHE solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System. To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of SHE Performance on the Contract.
Responsibilities
- Managing the daily SHE paperwork to ensure structured filing, quality compliance and document control
- Manage booking of ‘on-boarding’ and the inductions process and staff health surveillance
- Support the induction process with management of records and updating of project registers
- Assist in managing the projects training matrix and completing monthly training record audits for staff and subcontractors
- Assist in the SHE reporting requirements such as Capture monthly reporting, SHE dashboards, etc.
- Assist in compiling presentation slides and data for applicable forums
- Working as part of the site SHE Team in supporting the Project Team as required
- Assist with meetings – planning / arrangements and minutes
- Owning the document control process for audit compliance
- Assist the wider project Administration team with ad-hoc tasks as required
- Maintaining key working relationships with all members of the project team including client staff, subcontractors / supplier
Essential
QUALIFICATIONS
- English and Maths GCSE Level 5 or equivalent
- Microsoft office / IT
Desirable
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- SHE Administration experience
- SSSTS / IOSH managing safely
- CSCS or Costain internal visitor card
