SIA Door Supervisor - South Yorkshire

Job Overview

We are keen to speak with SIA Licensed Door Supervisors in and around South Yorkshire - Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham - who want regular work in established hospitality venues such as pubs, bars, clubs and fast food restaurants, earning competitive rates of pay.

We are actively recruiting in each of these locations, as well as seeking flexible team members that can cover venues across the wider South Yorkshire region.

As a Door Supervisor, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's staff and customers through controlling admissions, performing ID checks, and dealing with incidents effectively.

Ideal candidates will be professional, take a pride in their appearance and have excellent customer service skills enabling them to interact with a range of clients and customers.

Job Specification

• Immediate start available
• This is a part-time role
• Regular work available Friday and Saturday evenings (additional working hours may be available)
• Between 10 - 16 hours per week on average
• Shifts are usually between 5 - 8 hours, with longer shifts available
• It is a PAYE position – NOT cash in hand. Wages paid weekly

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Carrying out I.D checks
• Ensuring the safety and security of the venue, staff and visitors
• Dealing with difficult situations
• Reporting and recording details of incidents, searches and patrols
• Ensuring Assignment Instructions are followed at all times

Essential Requirements

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Must have valid Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to respond and deal with emergency situations
• Be presentable and in full uniform every shift

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a similar security role
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport
