The Simulation and Essential Clinical Skills service forms part of the Education Academy within Bart’s Health. They will be expected to work across other sites as and when required. The post holder will be responsible for delivering procedure based teaching alone and in partnership with specialists in the field.
We are currently looking to recruit a clinical skills tutor for 9 months secondment to cover maternity leave who will have the skills to maintain, set up, coordinate and deliver training using this equipment. They will also be expected to support clinicians in the delivery of the clinical skills teaching, including the wide library of haptic simulators available within this facility.
“Although this position is a 9 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 9 months.”
