This is a hands-on, varied role that offers exposure to the operational and regulatory aspects of pensions, along with opportunities to work cross-functionally across Product, Client Experience, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the processing of SIPP operational tasks including transfers in/out, drawdown requests and contribution tax reclaims.
  • Liaise with our external SIPP administrator to ensure timely and accurate execution of pension-related processes.
  • Respond to SIPP queries escalated from our Client Services team.
  • Assist with reconciliations, data quality checks and exception reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Help document and refine internal procedures and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the wider Investment Operations team and other departments to improve client experience and process efficiency.

About You

  • Some experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to pensions, investments, or operational processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • A clear communicator, comfortable dealing with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Willing to learn and able to grasp complex regulatory or product concepts.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
  • Process-oriented, with an interest in improving efficiency and client experience.

  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with SIPPs or knowledge of pension regulations.
  • Familiarity with FCA and HMRC pension requirements.
