Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join and help our
Haematology & Oncology Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Unit, based in the state-of-the-art
Cancer Centre at
MKUH.

What we're looking for: We're seeking a dynamic and dedicated
Registered Nurse with:
- A current band 6 qualification or readiness to step into this level
- A SACT qualification (essential)
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach
- A passion for delivering outstanding care to patients, families and carers.
We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

In this role, you'll work closely with the senior nursing leadership team to:
- provide visible, professional and compassionate leadership
- Maintain and enhance standards of clinical excellence
- Drive improvements in patient outcomes and experiences for individuals undergoing SACT
- Support the education, development and well-being of the nursing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic and compassionate team at the heart of cancer care. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse on the Macmillan Chemotherapy Day Unit, you will provide visible, professional, and supportive leadership, acting as the Unit representative in the absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.
You'll deliver expert, specialist care to patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT), with a focus on oncology and haematology. Your clinical excellence, leadership, and passion will help drive forward high standards of patient care, safety, and service development.
