An exciting job opportunity has arisen to support Blundell ward as a substantive Ward Manager.
A ward specialising in head and neck cancer, oncology, haematology and ear, nose and throat including both surgical and medical specialities. The ward particularly specialise in caring for patients with airway concerns and those with altered airways including tracheostomy care and laryngectomy care.
Blundell Ward is based on the Guys Site with 24 beds including 4 side rooms.
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and skilled leader to join our dedicated nursing team on Blundell ward. In this leadership role, you will oversee the smooth operation of the ward, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient resource management, and the well-being of both staff and patients.
If you're a passionate and experienced leading nurse looking to enhance your clinical and leadership skills while playing a key role in service development, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be supported by a team of deputy managers, a Matron, a Head of Nursing and a Practice Development Nurse to thrive and develop within the Surgical Oncology directorate.
