Description
To meet the needs of our complex Intestinal Failure patient caseload this is a fabulous and exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Registered Nurse to work within the Intestinal Failure Unit.

The Unit has an international reputation for high quality patient outcomes and is one of only two national reference centres (NRC'S) in the country directly commissioned to provide these specialist services.

You will need to demonstrate drive, commitment and a strong sense of leadership and deliver excellent patient centred care. You must be able to demonstrate a proven clinical ability at Band 5 or above and the leadership capability to bring the team with you in achieving the Trust goals and values.

If you have the drive and determination to succeed in a progressive successful organisation, whilst ensuring high quality, safe care, underpinned by best practice which is consistently delivered we would like you to apply.

We are open to discuss flexible working arrangements.

Intravenous therapy nursing experience is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate that you are able to deliver a high standard of evidence based care, and evidence of continual professional development.

You must also be able to demonstrate that you work well with a team, can lead from the front and show self-motivation and have good communication skills.

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester. Our 20,000 colleagues care for people in hospital and in the community, working across Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Salford, to save and improve lives.

We believe in our power and potential to make a difference and we’re always looking for people who demonstrate our three core values - care, appreciate and inspire – to join our team.

In return, we can offer you a job role with purpose and flexibility. The size and scale of the NCA means we can provide more challenge and opportunities so your career can always be moving in the right direction. By joining us you can also access a competitive benefits package, including, a fantastic annual leave allowance, flexible working opportunities and protected hours for health and wellbeing activities, helping you to achieve more personal downtime and a better work-life balance.
