Job Title: Site & Facilities Advisor
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. Onsite
Salary: £35,802+ depending on skills & experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for facilitating the project team stakeholders, requirements capture, develop of Statement of Requirements (SoR), liaise with Supply chain to develop procurement strategy/tender, tender review, obtain funding through the agreed funding stream and managing financial tracking of projects
- Delivering planned facilities and service activities in relation to equipment, supplies, installation, refurbishment, repairs or renovation and management of onsite works acting as the Responsible Person or Point of contact
- Effectively responding to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise, and managing any resulting actions or consequences
- Gathering data, updating relevant documents and systems, and maintaining accurate schedules of work
- Supporting Customer relationships by providing one-to-one support, setting clear expectations, and ensuring delivery in line with agreed service levels
- Follow process and system standards in line with business and user requirements
- Accessing and applying the relevant Quality and Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Management System documentation related to your specific work scope and ensuring full compliance with all HS&E rules, control measures, and security policies
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Previous experience working within an operational environment, using fixed plant or portable equipment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office – Especially in MS Projects
Desirable
- RAMS experience
- Auto CAD experience
- Awareness of CDM

The Operations Facilities Engineering Team
This is truly an exciting opportunity which will enable you to influence how the boat is built. There may be opportunities to travel overseas to supplier sites to undertake Site Acceptance Tests, also a potential for supporting the Dreadnought Jigs, this role will provide further career development and opportunities with BAE Systems. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
