Job Title: Site & Facilities Professional
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. On-site
Salary: £45,628.00+ Dependant on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring compliance on several statutory regulations, including coordinating the safe delivery of compliance within the team
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of all your employees and that your area operates in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Delivering and managing activities in line with the business objectives/strategic direction
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences
- Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies
- Supporting the tracking of costs, expenditures and arrange specialist procurement of either service or resource
- Management of third parties undertaking FM tasks on behalf of the business (end to end)
- Stakeholder management – influences local organisation, customers, supplier, partners and peers
- Leadership – undertaking people management or build an effective team to support activities
- Applying the Quality and HS&E Management System documentation e.g. Process Instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments etc. applicable to your particular work scope
- Complying to all HS&E rules, control measures and security policies
Your Skills And Experiences
- Understanding of Health and Safety/Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations
- Experience of managing projects and liaising with contractors
- Experience in collaborating across functions and wider teams along with good stakeholder management
- Review and handle risk assessments and method statements
- Contractual, commercial and/or financial acumen
- Experience in Construction or Engineering
- One of the following qualifications/certificates – CITB SMS TS OR Above IE Nebosh Cert

The Site & Facilities Team
You will be joining a team that is responsible for delivering a safe legal and compliant facilities infrastructure and assets to enable boat build programmes at BAE Barrow Submarines.
The area landlord management team works closely with all end users and tenants across the site to ensure it is delivered. This is a key opportunity for you to influence and deliver safe ways of working on-site.
We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
