This role:

We are looking for a Site Manager to come and join our growing team.

This will be someone who challenges what we do daily and thrives working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future.

An idea of what you'll be doing:

• Supervise internal staff and subcontractors in the delivery of the on-site elements of new Electricity connections.

• Ensure works are carried out in line with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.

• Ensure all works are completed to the relevant IDNO, DNO, and client standards

• Undertake on site safety reporting and quality audits, recording and closing out any project non-conformances.

• Organise and supervise staff to ensure productivity is maximized.

• Liaise with Clients Site Managers and stakeholders regarding programming and management of onsite and offsite works.

• Review Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, Method Statements for craft teams.

• Ensure on-site safety paperwork is returned, check and sign off as per Sinewave’s processes, procedures and Key Performance Indicators.

• Liaise with Sinewave’s technical teams and Project Managers where required.

• Manage project materials in line with Sinewave’s processes and procedures.

• Regularly communicate with all key stakeholders and provide regular reports as and when required.

You'll have a proven track record of:

Requirements

Core Competencies

• Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles.

• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Commercially aware with a clear understanding of implications decisions may have on the overall business.

• Understand client/project POW requirements and timescales and ensure these are met.

• Excellent knowledge of the electrical utility industry.

• Experience of stakeholder management and operational partnerships.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle from ownership to completion.

• Able to report and demonstrate project efficiencies through to completion.

• Excellent attention to detail with ability to complete project documentation and reporting.

• Agile in challenging situations with the ability to find appropriate cost-effective solutions.

• Strong organisational and co-ordination skills.

• Solid organisational ability and strong influencing skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team, with good communication skills

You’ll be a successful Site Manager at Sinewave if you’re

  • Experience in site supervision within the Utilities distribution industry
  • SMSTS
  • EUSR – Shea Power or equivalent
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage
  • Project Management experience
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, including the anti-bribery policy, while adhering to the Environmental and Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards and the requirements of the NERS accreditation.
