About The Role

This is a developmental leadership opportunity within DP World's Contract Logistics division, offering the right individual the chance to step into a future Site Manager position. As a Site Manager Designate, you will work alongside established Site Leaders and cross-functional support teams to gain a deep understanding of the operational, commercial, and strategic responsibilities required to run a successful logistics site. The role is designed to equip you with the skills and experience necessary to lead complex operations, with a focus on customer delivery, team leadership, financial performance, and continuous improvement. You will be involved in key projects, customer engagement activities, and internal collaboration initiatives while supporting the delivery of our wider business objectives. This is a hands-on role for an ambitious, proactive individual ready to take the next step in their logistics leadership career experience required to manage financial budgets, lead diverse operational teams, and ensure compliance with company standards in safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with customers, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
• Contribute to future demand planning and ongoing communication with clients.
• Support initiatives that drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting and performance reviews.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the control of unplanned costs and commercial negotiations.
• Support the development and coaching of site teams to meet current and future business needs.
• Champion employee engagement and effective communication across all levels.
• Help implement succession planning and team development strategies.
• Play a key role in scope changes, onboarding new business, and identifying operational growth opportunities within the site.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support a competitive and scalable operational model.
• Be responsible for supporting the management of all facility-related activities.
• Engage with regional and internal teams to ensure operational alignment.
• Support broader organisational objectives in safety, quality, customs, delivery, productivity, employee morale, and sustainability.
• Be open to occasional regional and international travel as required.

What You Will Bring

• Proven success in third-party logistics at a senior management level.
• Strong leadership capability with experience in developing and mentoring teams.
• A background in e-commerce or the technology sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively across our Contract Logistics Technology sites
