About The Role
We are looking for a number of Site Managers to join our engineering delivery teams working on various Health care projects based in the Midlands and North East/North Yorkshire. Our Engineering team are responsible for the design and installation of high profile carbon reduction/energy conservation projects that include heat pumps, solar panels, BMS upgrades, HV/LV upgrades, steam boiler plant replacement, LED lighting upgrades etc. Often undertaken in existing buildings our engineering projects are delivered with the best level of experience and knowledge in the industry.
Key responsibilities
- Day to day management of site construction activities and sub-contractors whilst communicating and coordinating key project activities.
- Monitoring of the overall progress of works against the agreed construction programme.
- Completing site progress reports and issuing to the Project Manager.
- Liaising with the commercial team to co-ordinate procurement requirements in relation to quality, availability and fitness for purpose.
- Maintaining accurate on-site records of all goods received on a weekly basis ensuring that these (including all delivery notes) are correctly processed.
- Management of all Waste transfer, maintaining accurate records for the disposal and separation of waste.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are implemented and followed
- Promoting and complying with the Company’s policies on ED&I
- Deputising for the Project Manager if required
What you will need
- Mechanical or electrical bias – Proven relevant construction industry experience on existing healthcare projects/University to type projects
- SSSTS/SMSTS accreditation and Black CSCS card
- Time served as a tradesman or technical qualifications such as HNC/HND in engineering subjects.
- Problem solver with a dynamic and proactive approach to finding effective solutions
- Communicates clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication
- Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office applications and current internet technologies.
