Site Nurse Practitioner

Responsibility for the timely and appropriate clinical placement of patients by planning and managing the effective utilisation of inpatient beds providing an efficient and effective service for both emergency and elective admissions. To provide senior nurse support through advanced assessment skills, clinical interventions and clinical management support for all the clinical areas where needed. To ensure that patients receive timely assessment, referral and transfer from the A&E department and assessment areas in order that clinical care can be optimum and the national priorities achieved. To troubleshoot during the patient pathway to assist the clinical areas to improve the patient experience.

You will act as the point of contact during the out of hours period, liaising with the on-call teams as necessary. You will be responsible for managing the PRH site at night. Please see attached Job Description for full details.
