About the role:
As a Site Operative at LondonEnergy, you will have a strong customer service background and will act as the first point of contact to the public, providing a professional service by giving advice, direction, and assistance, ensuring that waste is received and deposited correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Delivering a consistent high level of customer service, working to the company standards and contract requirements.
- Assisting members of public, where safe and appropriate to do so, and overseeing the sorting and safe disposal of customers waste and recycling materials.
- Advising on the correct segregation of waste and recycling into relevant containers / storage areas.
- Monitoring and directing traffic movements within the facility.
- Carry out general site duties including housekeeping of site grounds, buildings and staff facilities.
- Operate the site in line with current company policies and procedures
General
- To carry out other appropriate duties at a similar level at the designated site/sites or other company sites as required
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Flexible approach may be required to learn other roles within the site to ensure effective operating procedures.
- Must be willing to learn operations and undergo appropriate training.
- Be able to work shift in a pattern (including some weekends)
- Experience working in a public facing role
- Working in a similar role is desirable
