Job Description Summary

As a Site Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our site quality systems to meet both internal and customer requirements. You will ensure that our projects and products adhere to applicable standards, driving operational excellence and leading a cultural transformation through lean principles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Site Quality Team, including Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspectors.
  • Implement quality control procedures to deliver high-quality products in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentor and support the inspection team to conduct incoming and load-out inspections of WTG main components.
  • Ensure alignment and fulfilment of the Pre-Assembly Site Inspection and Test Plan across all parties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commissioning, Sourcing, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain, to address quality concerns and drive proactive solutions.
  • Work with the Design Liaison Engineer and Project NC Coordinator to investigate and resolve quality issues through corrective and preventative actions.
  • Actively participate in site meetings and host customer quality meetings to address concerns and provide updates.
  • Develop and manage the site audit plan, leading internal and customer audits, and preparing for regulatory inspections.
  • Identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation plans to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

Desired Characteristics And Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., SPC, root cause analysis).
  • Proactive approach in identifying issues and inclusive approach to finding solutions.
  • Advanced experience in Quality & Business Process Management, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of best practices in the Offshore Wind Industry.
