Site Services Technician - Electrical Supervisor
SITE BASED WITH TRAVEL (SCOTLAND)
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for an Site Services Electrical Supervisor to join the team with Lintott, who are part of the Galliford Try Group.
Lintott Control Systems is a multi-award winning Process Solutions Provider.
We specialise in the design, manufacture & after-care of factory-built, packaged Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems, Process Software/Systems Integration & Electrical Control Panels.
We are seeking an experienced electrician with a passion for high-quality installations and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to join our team in a key customer-facing role, ensuring our electrical equipment is installed, commissioned, and maintained to the highest standards.
This role would suit someone from a commercial or domestic electrical background, ideally with their 18th Edition and Testing & Inspection certification (or working towards them).
As our Site Services Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the efficient installation of quality Electrical systems & installations as per supplied designs. This will need to be carried out in a sensible, safe and timely manner to a very high standard and both in the factory and across Water & Wastewater Treatment sites predominantly in Scotland.
You’ll also be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, modifications, and fault-finding to a consistently high standard. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery. On-site, you’ll coordinate and supervise contractors to maintain our reputation for excellence, while also completing all necessary documentation, including reports, RAMS, and photographic evidence.
You’ll keep a detailed site diary to record daily activities and key events, and ensure all Health & Safety documentation is in place and followed. You’ll actively promote best practices in safety, customer service, housekeeping, and continuous improvement, and support the planning and logistics of site work to optimise materials and resources. About You:
Essential
- Relevant/similar Electrical Installation experience including site-based works within a customer-based or customer focused environment.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to internal and external environments.
- Apprenticeship served in a relevant electrical / mechanical discipline.
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualification in a relevant electrical / mechanical discipline.
- Electrical Wiring Regulations.
Desirable
- Multidisciplined Electrical Bias
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge of the Water Industry
- 18th Edition (or working towards)
- ECS Card (Graft Card) or equivalent
- CSCS Craft Card or equivalent
