We are recruiting for Traffic Management (TM) Civils Skilled Operatives to join us here at Octavius. This is an exciting role encompassing both classic civils works as well as TM responsibilities.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
- To install, maintain and remove traffic management on rural and urban roads (low speed roads, Lantra 12D).
- Ensure pedestrian routes are safe, well maintained and accessible. Boundary fencing is kept secure and barriers are maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that traffic management is maintained to the required standard to inform motorists clearly and keep pedestrians and our workforce safe.
- Usually working as part of a two-person team, installing traffic management in advance of the site team and removing it after the end of their shift.
- Carrying out maintenance checks and maintaining traffic management as required throughout the shift.
- Working as part of the civils delivery team during the rest of the day, as directed by the site leadership team.

You'll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)
- General knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing.
- General knowledge of low-speed traffic management (NRSWA or Lantra 12D techniques, required standards and layouts).
- Significant experience of working in a construction environment, ideally on the highway, delivering groundworks schemes (kerbing, drainage, ducting, paving, surfacing etc), whilst interacting with members of the public.
- Full UK driving license, for a minimum of two years
- NRSWA Signing Lighting and Guarding O1 or S1 (or equivalent qualification / relevant experience)
- CSCS/CPCS Card for civils activities
- Safety Critical Medical
