Snowflake Architect to join our dynamic team. This role emphasizes designing scalable, performance-optimized data platforms enabling advanced analytics and empowering decision-making for our clients in diverse industries.
In this position, you will build cutting-edge Snowflake-based architectures, lead data migration efforts and deliver robust data integration solutions for complex data environments. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical implementations with strategic business objectives and ensure best practices in data governance, scalability and security.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to define their data platform strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
- Design and deliver Snowflake-based data architecture to meet analytics, trading and risk management needs
- Develop efficient ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Lead data migration and transformation projects from legacy systems to modern cloud-based environments
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, governance and security of Snowflake-based data assets
- Build CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration of data solutions into production
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers and business stakeholders to successfully implement solutions
- Apply data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with best practices in security and data quality management
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and tools to enhance data solutions and offerings
- Provide actionable technical roadmaps and insights tailored to stakeholder needs through client-facing presentations and workshops
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields
- Extensive experience in Snowflake architecture and solutions including designing data warehouses, ETL processes and advanced optimization techniques
- Certifications in Snowflake are highly valued
- Proficiency in cloud-based platforms
- Expertise in Data Modelling, Data Integration and Software Engineering methodologies as well as modern cloud-based migration strategies
- Programming proficiency in Python, SQL and scripting languages
- Knowledge and experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes
- Strong grasp of data governance frameworks, data security principles and data quality management practices
- Familiarity with database technologies and frameworks including RDBMS systems and cloud platforms (e.g., SQL Server and transitioning legacy systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
