At EPAM, we are looking for a skilled
Snowflake Architect / Engineer to join our on-site team in Geneva. As part of a high-impact data initiative, you will help design, implement and maintain a Snowflake-based platform supporting analytics for trading and risk management.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to align data design with evolving needs
- Support data migration and transformation efforts from legacy systems
- Ensure performance, scalability, governance and security across data assets
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and operating Snowflake-based data platforms
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Proficient in Data Modelling, Data Integration and Data Software Engineering
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation and data engineering tasks
- Experience with data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT)
- Familiarity with RDBMS systems and migration to cloud environments
- Understanding of data governance, data quality and security frameworks
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Nice to have
- Snowflake certification
- Exposure to commodity trading or financial risk domains
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in data workflows
- Knowledge of big data ecosystems and related technologies
