Are you passionate about empowering and supporting others through learning? Do you have experience in social care and a talent for facilitating learning opportunities and engaging training experiences?
As a social care training officer, you will play a vital role in providing a range of development and commissioned training and support activities for the social care workforce to meet requirements set out in the Social Services & Wellbeing Act (Wales) 2014.
You will be responsible for organising, designing and commissioning training and development for staff and students on qualifying and post-qualifying programmes, ensuring statutory requirements and workforce learning needs are met across the social care sector.
Are you a people person? Do you enjoy collaborating with others? In this role you will work alongside schools, local colleges, universities, partner agencies and other stakeholders to identify training opportunities and to promote careers in social care.
