Social Housing Conveyancer

We're looking for a Social Housing Conveyancer to join our team in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to our clients in the processing of social housing disposals from receipt of instructions through to completion.

What will I be doing

• You'll manage affordable housing transactions from instruction to completion
• Draft documents and issue draft papers to buyer’s Solicitors.
• Handle enquiries and you'll take a proactive role in meeting client timescales.
• Communicate directly with our clients and provide them with regular updates.
• Complete transactions and issue invoices.
• Maintain file administration and independently manage your own caseload.

You'll have

• Previous experience and / or knowledge of property / conveyancing.
• A good level of IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and case management systems.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone and client service skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines.
