Social Media Manager – Globally Recognised Festival in the Creative Industries
A fast-growing consumer brand is looking for a Social Media Manager to elevate its presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X - bringing creativity, cultural awareness, and sharp content instincts to a team that values fresh ideas and smart storytelling.
Working closely with the Content Manager, Copywriting team, and Head of Brand, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping how this globally recognised festival in the creative industry shows up online day-to-day.
The company currently operates a 4-day working week in London.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
• Create engaging social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
• Design quick-turn visuals in Canva (graphics, simple motion, carousels)
• Write captions, social copy, and platform-appropriate messaging
• Post daily content and engage with online conversations, comments, and communities
Trend & Culture Awareness
• Spot relevant cultural or platform trends and plug the brand into them
• Proactively bring creative ideas to the team and present new content concepts
• Ensure the brand stays culturally relevant and fits naturally into conversations
Brand & Strategy Alignment
• Work closely with the Content Manager and copywriting team
• Report directly to the Head of Brand, aligning work with broader brand goals
• Support both B2B and B2C messaging, leaning heavily into consumer-focused storytelling
Engagement & Audience Growth
• Interact with audiences to boost familiarity, trust, and conversion
• Support onboarding and buying journeys through helpful, engaging content
• Analyse basic metrics and flag what’s working — and what to test next
Ideal Candidate
•Experience creating and managing organic social content.
•Highly creative, proactive, and self-motivated.
•Smart, curious, and comfortable presenting ideas to internal teams.
•Willing to experiment, learn fast, and take initiative.
•Very open, collaborative, and culturally aware.
•Confident managing multiple platforms and projects.
•Strong attention to detail, excellent writing, and visual storytelling skills.
Salary & Benefits
• £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
• Hybrid working (1x day WFH a week)
