We are looking to recruit to a permanent Social Worker position within the Short Term Assessment and reablement Team in South Derbyshire.
We welcome applicants with a Social Work qualification and with experience of working in an Adult Social work setting. To be an effective communicator and an ability to contribute to the development of an integrated approach. To be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a person centred and strength based approach to achieve ideal outcomes with people to live as independent as possible within their own homes and communities is essential. Experience of a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working is required to support people to return or remain in their own homes following a period of ill health or change in needs.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent knowledge of the current legislation, policy and procedures that underpin good practice and the application of quality assurance. An understanding and experience of Safeguarding principles and practice will be essential.
