One of our large Pharmaceutical clients is actively hiring for a Software Architect to join their project team for a 12 month engagement. This person will be will be part of multi-disciplinary team (hardware engineering. software engineering. project managers) taking a manual semi automation experimental process and turning into an automation scheduling software.
This role will follow an onsite schedule where you will be expected to go onsite 5x per week.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences. or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in lab automation with a portion of that time focused on application of industry-standard scheduling software.
- Experience with system integration, including commercial scheduling software (such as
- Momentum, Cellario, and GreenButtonGo), APIs, middleware, and data exchange
- protocols.
- Experience with scripting liquid handling platforms (such as Tecan, Hamilton etc)
PLUSES:
- familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, C#, or Java, and experience with scripting for automation.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure).
