About you

We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developers (with experience with either FE or BE development) who would like to build client-side geolocation, mapping and graphical user experiences (FE) or architect services for geospatial and geolocation on the server side (BE).

You would have previous worked on location, or GIS based platforms.

About the Team

You will be working in the Geospatial domain at Track24, responsible for GIS, geolocation, tracking and mapping capabilities.

Responsibilities

Contributing to and reviewing the development and maintenance of all aspects of the applications and services owned by the team
Contributing in tactical planning and execution of quarterly roadmap projects and features in the teams domain and work cross-functionally across Product and Engineering teams to facilitate delivery of the teams tasks
Consult with the Engineering team in planning sessions to plan and forecast execution of the quarterly roadmap
Work as part of a team with a deep focus on hard technical problems and explain the why, how, and what, that makes your solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
Consult with the Technical Lead on coding, process and best practices (e.g. adherence to Definition of Done and other ways of working practices)
Ensuring Engineering ways of working are championed and implemented in your day-to-day work and across the team

We are looking for Frontend Engineers with experience using React applications for mapping and tracking, as well as Backend Engineers with experience using Node.JS on the server side for mapping technologies.
