YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Work closely with fellow engineering team members to embed testability and quality into all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the product and business domain
- Contribute to performance, load, and integration testing for critical components
- Define and maintain quality metrics to monitor and improve both test effectiveness and overall software quality.
- Advocate for testability and quality during design and code reviews.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Must Have:
- Proficient in automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Node.js-based tools.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining test automation suites for web or API testing
- Working knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of test failures.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including integration of automated tests into build and release workflows.
- Experience working with DB2, Snowflake.
