Job Title: Software Developer – Ping Federate & Java

Location: Milton Keynes [Hybrid]

Employment Type: [Full-time]

Experience Level: 5+ years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with hands-on experience in PingFederate administration and deployment, Ping Adapters development, Java programming, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in reactive Java frameworks and will be primarily focused on development tasks rather than architectural responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and deploy PingFederate solutions.
Develop and customize Ping Adapters.
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
Build and manage microservices using modern frameworks.
Implement reactive programming principles using Java frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity and access management.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with PingFederate (administration, deployment, and adapter development).
Proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with reactive Java frameworks (e.g., Spring WebFlux, Vert.x, Akka).
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles.
Relevant certifications in PingFederate or Java technologies.
