We are working with an energy start-up whose mission is to make energy cleaner and promote sustainable practices that benefit the planet. They are looking for a Software Engineer to build and enhance their web applications. You’ll play a pivotal role in writing clear, responsive code, taking ownership of the UI, and applying a strong understanding of mobile-first design principles.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Use customer Feedback to develop the UI
• Work with other software engineers to ensure seamless integration with services and APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, performance issues

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ commercial Software engineer experience
• strong understanding in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a small team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python, Postgres, REST APIs, or other backend frameworks
• Knowledge/ previous use of AI to aid with timing and planning
• Experience in start-up environments is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite), Git, or (Docker).
