From product and software design discussions to implementing best-in-class patterns and practices, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering digital products that set new standards for innovation and creativity in publishing.

About The Role…

• Drive features and projects from idea to launch (and beyond) in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Build and scale modern applications across client and server using React, Python, and the latest frameworks.
• Embrace new tools and technologies quickly, keeping our stack innovative and future-ready.
• Power development with Docker to streamline local builds and testing.
• Craft efficient, reliable SQL queries to keep our data flowing smoothly.
• Champion best practices like test-driven development, clean architecture, and maintainable code.
• Apply expertise in concurrency and asynchronous programming to deliver high-performance solutions.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges with creativity and precision.
• Collaborate seamlessly with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
• Continuously push for smarter processes, stronger teamwork, and your own technical growth.

What We Are Looking For…

• You bring 5+ years’ experience as a Web Developer (or in a similar technical role) and a track record of delivering high-impact digital products.
• You’re passionate about crafting high-quality software with the end-user experience always front of mind.
• You understand the critical importance of performance optimisation and know how to make applications fast, reliable, and scalable.
• You’re fluent in JavaScript, React, and Python, with hands-on experience testing and refining web applications.
• You’re comfortable working in Agile teams, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
• You excel at problem-solving and analysis, able to quickly diagnose issues and identify smart solutions.
• You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, bringing clear communication and teamwork to every project.
• You know how to write structured, comprehensive test cases that strengthen product quality.
• You enjoy the energy of a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to new challenges.
