Description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our client’s growing Digital Banking team.

You will be working on cutting edge Insurance software products the client offers to their customers. As a developer, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of your software from inception to production, working on a mixture of green- and brown-field projects, as well as learning from, and contributing to your peer group.

This initiative will be a 12 month contract (Inside IR35). With a high chance of extension. This will follow a hybrid schedule, you will be expected to go onsite 3x weekly.

Must Haves:

Proficient with Java or Kotlin, preferably both.
Knowledge of Spring Boot.
Knowledge of OracleDB.
Proficient with Object Oriented Programming.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

Plusses:

Experience with other programming languages like C#, JavaScript, React, etc.
Experience with Cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
