A PE-backed technology-enabled security services business is seeking a Sole Legal Counsel to take ownership of the legal function and act as a trusted adviser to the business. This is a broad, hands-on role with direct exposure to the Executive team and CFO, operating at the heart of commercial decision-making.

The Role

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer, supplier, and partnership agreements
• Provide practical, day-to-day employment law support to HR
• Support Sales, Commercial, and broader business teams with timely, pragmatic legal advice
• Manage litigation and disputes, instructing and overseeing external counsel as required
• Advise on legal risk, governance, and day-to-day commercial matters
• Support strategic initiatives and transactions on an ad hoc basis

The Profile

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience, ideally 2-3PQE
• Experience managing or supporting litigation through external counsel
• Confident operating independently in a standalone legal role
• Commercial, adaptable, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
