Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Real Estate Commercial

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Lawyer to join our busy Real Estate Commercial team based in our Southampton office. This is a fantastic chance to work in a fast-paced and specialist sector, supporting a wide range of commercial property clients—including developers, investors, and lenders.

Your Responsibilities

• Property Transactions: Act on the purchase and sale of commercial properties, working closely with developers and investors.
• Finance Matters: Advise borrowers and lenders on secured lending transactions, including property-backed finance arrangements.
• Landlord & Tenant: Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial lease agreements, including renewals and assignments.
• Pension Trusts: Handle transactions involving SIPPs and SASS pension schemes, with support to grow your knowledge in this niche area.
• Team Support & Growth: Contribute to the growth and reputation of the team through client care, collaboration, and business development.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: NQ-3 years PQE. Previous experience handling commercial property matters is essential. Exposure to property development or investment transactions is highly desirable.

Legal Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. A commercial, solutions-led mindset is key.

Client Focus: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and responsiveness.

Motivation: A team player who is confident taking on responsibility, with the drive to contribute to team success.

Organisation: High level of attention to detail and ability to manage a busy caseload with competing deadlines.
