DWF is currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our Corporate team in Manchester.
With a large team of corporate lawyers across DWF, we are recognised for combining corporate legal expertise with a distinctively energetic, decisive and clear approach.
The Corporate team provide legal services and advise on private equity transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and venture capital.
As a Solicitor, you will be joining a team with an extensive track record of providing top-tier legal services to a varied and reputable client base.
You can expect to participate in high-quality work from and with clients operating across a variety of sectors. This work is underpinned by a supportive and collegiate working environment and team.
We will welcome applications from Trainees who are due to qualify this year and have completed at least 1 corporate seat.
Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial transactions including M&A, VC and PE.
- Deliver high-quality, technically precise, and commercially focused advice to clients with an excellent level of service.
- Contribute to the team’s growth through networking and business development.
- Maintaining and managing strong relationships with key clients whilst striving to achieve further growth through new and existing business.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Proven experience gained in a highly regarded corporate team.
- Experience working on M&A, venture capital or private equity transactions.
- Knowledge of core deal and ancillary documentation.
- Willingness to advise on complex transactions whilst delivering technically excellent advice.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively whilst meeting strict deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
