DWF is seeking a talented and driven Solicitor (0-4 years PQE) to join our highly regarded Healthcare team, with experience in healthcare regulatory matters and inquests.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading national law firm, acting for healthcare providers, insurers, indemnifiers and public sector bodies on high-profile and sensitive cases.
Responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients at coroner’s inquests in the healthcare sector, including for NHS Trusts.
- Support clients in responding to investigations by regulators such as the GMC, GDC, GOC, NMC, and HCPC.
- Work closely with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, indemnifiers and insurers.
- Handle a varied caseload of healthcare regulatory matters, disciplinary cases and inquests.
- Assist in the preparation of client seminars, training sessions, and business development initiatives
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- 0-4 years PQE with strong experience in healthcare regulatory and inquest work.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and advisory skills.
- Confidence in dealing directly with clients, witnesses, and experts.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine interest in healthcare law.
