Our Commercial Insurance team at DWF are currently hiring for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Senior Paralegal to join the Property Damage team based in Bristol.
The Commercial Insurance team are instructed by our insurer clients to pursue subrogated property damage recovery claims, working to recover insurers’ outlay where damage has been caused to their customer’s property, be it commercial or domestic premises.
This role involves handling a range of insurance claims, for a number of different composite and London Market insurers across the UK, ranging from £25,000 to £100,000 in value (but with the opportunity to progress to higher value work depending on performance. The work mainly involves Fixed Recoverable Costs (FRC) property damage subrogated recovery and product liability work, with some defence and coverage cases.
You will be expected to manage your own case load of property damage recovery claims, as well as assisting Senior Associate and Partners.
