ServiceNow Solutions Architect, designs and governs technical solutions on the ServiceNow Platform, bridging business needs with technical; execution by translating requirements into scalable designs, leading development teams, ensuring platform integrity, managing stakeholders and driving platform strategy and roadmap alignment.

Main Duties

Requirements & Design: Gather complex business needs and translate them into technical solutions and HLDs, ensuring platform fit and value.
Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, mentor teams, oversee technical governance, and enforce best practices and coding standards.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams to build consensus and manage expectations.
Platform Integrity: Safeguard platform health, manage technical debt, and ensure solutions align with corporate standards.
Integration & Security: Design and govern integrations with external systems (SAP, CRM) and advise on security (SAML, SSO).
Project Oversight: Lead architectural discussions, contribute to project scope, and support delivery across sprint cycles.
Road mapping: Develop and maintain platform implementation roadmaps, identifying future opportunities for enhancement.

Key Skills

Deep expertise in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, etc.).
Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and integration methods.

Experience with development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and technical teams.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

You can use your knowledge of industry best practice to design, build and deliver solutions to business problems in the ServiceNow platform. You have in-depth knowledge of the most common modules and broad experience of the whole platform. You can design, build and test integrations with the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer and Certified Implementation Specialist

Experience of Agile ways of working

Understanding and experience of low code/no code development such as Creator Workflows

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in development and deployment with ServiceNow

Industry qualifications and certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, ServiceNow, etc.

Proficient in administration of cloud environments

Experience of integrating disparate systems, both on-premise and in the cloud

Experience of less common ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, SecOps and GRC

Scripting skills such as JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and AngularJS

Integration experience including Integration Hub, REST, SOAP, SFTP and MID Servers

Understanding of key technologies such as LDAP, SSL, SSO and VPN
