What will you contribute?
As a Technology & Solutions Consultant, Trade for Europe, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic client engagements and supporting the sales organization by demonstrating the value of our lending solutions. Key responsibilities include owning the solution proposal, ensuring consistency in value messaging, orchestrating internal resources, and maintaining alignment across all stakeholders. You will often serve as an Engagement Manager, coordinating complex sales cycles and facilitating executive-level workshops to align solutions with clients’ digital transformation agendas.
You are expected to possess deep product knowledge in capital platforms especially trade finance, up-to-date market expertise, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes. Attributes such as active listening, storytelling, problem-solving, and empathy are essential to position yourself in the client’s mindset, effectively communicate value, and build trust.
T
he ideal candidate will have a proven track record in understanding or having performed Front, Middle, and Back Office processes related to working capital - such as letter of credit, guaranties, trade financing or open account. Experience working within a Financial Institution or Fintech, ideally with exposure to one or more of Finastra’s core corporate banking solutions (Finastra Trade Innovation, Finastra Corporate Channels, etc.), is highly desirable.
You will support the Sales team by leading client-facing engagements, showcasing solution capabilities, and tailoring demonstrations to address specific client pain points. You will become a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders, offering insights into product strategy and identifying whitespace in the corporate capital landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in strategic account reviews, upsell and renewal opportunities, pricing guidance, and identifying product growth areas.
Additionally, your thought leadership will be essential in representing the company at industry events, supporting analyst engagements, and contributing to strategic initiatives that differentiate our offerings in an increasingly competitive environment.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support Finastra Working Capital GTM: world class customer engagements based on a deep knowledge of trade finance and supply chain finance process, market tends and technology adoption.
Solution enhancements: cooperate internally with the Finastra product management and marketing team, the technology and delivery teams to define and validate the Finastra solution roadmaps.
Customer experience: engage with the Finastra customers to increase adoption of the working capital platform.
Required Experience
Deep knowledge of the trade finance business and process either from a solution provider, consulting company or from a bank experience.
Good understanding of new technologies such as Cloud, AI or tokenization and their benefits in the context of trade and working capital
French/Arabic language proficiency would be highly desirable
