Solutions Coordinator on a
permanent basis in
Peterborough.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the supportive @one Alliance Solutions team if you are an enthusiastic person with a passion for solving problems and trying new things.
This role adopts a flexible hybrid working model consisting of working at home, in person office attendance three days a week and visits to sites across the region.
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse programme of Water Recycling (sewage) treatment, infrastructure (water and sewage pipelines) and/ or water (treatment and storage) projects.
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming requests from the client to understand their requirements.
- Undertake site visits when required to collate first-hand information and knowledge of the project.
- Identify and collate the required data to inform the development of Solutions to meet the client requirements.
- Identify and assist in scoping enabling works, surveys, constraints, opportunities, risks and the like to supplement existing information.
- Assist in developing potential Solutions through the interpretation and assessment of collated data, root cause analysis, a flair for thinking outside the box and the application of engineering principles.
- Challenge the norm at all stages looking for alternative ways of delivering, with a focus on value engineering, buildability, efficiencies, carbon reduction, sustainability, ecological and social impact reduction and innovation.
- Assist in developing Solutions Stage Project Plans and reports, including programmes and costs, to ensure alignment with Anglian Water and @one Alliance delivery teams and Standards.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting progress, identify potential changes, and contribute to monthly performance reporting.
Skills / Experience
- A levels / T levels / BTech or demonstrable relevant working experience.
- Engineering sector, construction sector, or water sector operations experience
- A desire to develop your career and enthusiasm to learn
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent.
- Experience in water-sector assets.
- People Management experience.
- Ability to think creatively to resolve challenges.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a working environment
