Sous Chef to join our team.
The Senior Sous Chef Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting the Head Chef with the daily operations of our kitchen. You’ll help ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets and banqueting. This is a hands-on role that requires strong culinary skills, a passion for excellence, and the ability to inspire and lead a team in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
What You Will Do
- Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations across all outlets and events
- Ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation
- Lead, mentor, and develop the culinary brigade to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and food cost control
- Contribute to menu development, seasonal updates, and recipe creation
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety
- Take full operational responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Exceptional culinary talent with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices
- Creativity and passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
