Sous Chef – Humble Grape Islington
Humble Grape is a modern wine bar & restaurant serving seasonal, sustainable dishes made from scratch. We champion zero-waste cooking, organic produce, and food that pairs beautifully with wine.
We’re looking for a
Sous Chef to join our Islington team. You’ll support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen, creating seasonal menus, and keeping standards consistently high.
What you’ll do
- Cook modern, seasonal dishes with a sustainable mindset.
- Support menu development & daily kitchen operations.
- Lead and train the team, ensuring smooth, high-quality service.
- Maintain zero-waste, nose-to-tail ethos.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef (or strong CDP ready to step up).
- Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking.
- Hands-on leadership and strong teamwork.
- Commitment to quality and sustainability.

Salary £40k - £42k
